I'm watching this movie while I'm watching. This is a painful thing to sit through for 2 hours. It's predictable and could have probably been resolved in 45 minutes.
The overdone narrative that 2 parents can't manage to stay together long enough to just get on the damn plane.
How did the military NOT know his kid had a chronic condition? They managed to send a message directly to his (and only his) TV and cell phone, but have zero knowledge of the family's medical conditions? (I know, I know 'suspension of disbelief 🙄).
Also, the mother is the worst with unnecessary commentary ("Is that the airport? Is that it?!"...umm, ma'am, he doesn't know any more than you since you're both arriving at the same place at the same time). It
And now, a part 2 in 2025? That doesn't need to be a thing. Besides, they really all should have perished at the end (and in the middle and pretty close to the beginning too) of the movie.
