Watched the first one on ITV tonight. Took quite a while to get going. Wondered how the hell they were going to fit it all in before it finished at 22:00 hrs. Not got the 'craft' of an Endeavour but will give it a chance. Minimal depth of character past Professor T and Detective Inspector Donckers. Can't help thinking that Professor T is just a very extreme version of Inspector Richard Poole in Death in Paradise and Doc Martin rolled into one. Wooden. Good to see Frances de la Tour. Described as a ''breezy crime series'' by one of the papers. Will keep watching and hope it improves.
