Some interesting scenes and photography. I just finished the 3rd episode. So far the characters are very two demensional and extremely stupid. I cannot believe they have survived 6 weeks. Most don't even carry weapons or apparently even know how to start a car.

When making an epic survival story you don't want to blow it by showing present day first so the viewer knows everyone lived. This is a great story but this version missed the boat. Kathy Bates part as the radio host killed by soldiers was very powerful and scary. It wasn't even in this version.
