Jay Silverman

This is a beautiful film!--both visually (the Himalayas) and emotionally. A young man is required to teach for a few months in a very remote village. At first he's kind of a jerk--but he goes through a transformation. I was in real suspense about the choice he had to make. His guide on the trek there, the village elder, the young woman who teaches him songs, the class "captain' (a child), and the young man himself are all beautifully played. A deep joy.
