Awful. The portrayal of Schizophrenia in this movie is so inaccurate, pushing the stereotype that the illness is dangerous and causes murderous tendencies. It portrays it as something to be scared of, when in reality, the majority of violent acts committed by those with schizophrenia are towards themselves, and even if theyre violent towards other people, they are not nearly as organized, as one of the most dibilitating symptoms is loss of cognition and focus. It felt like the writers and director looked at the DSM criteria and told the actors to just do it all. Do not recommend, especially for teens or adults who dont understand schizophrenia and are easily influenced.
