After last nights episode (Season 9, Episode 3, 6/9/2022) I will no longer be watching Alone. What I saw on this episode hurt me to my core and I feel that certain parts did not need to be shown. I understand that in order to survive the contestants have to kill some of the wildlife. The problem I have is that I feel that certain parts that are extremely hard to watch should be omitted. What really bothered me was when Jessie caught a baby squirrel the momma squirrel came running up and was obviously upset. Watching this poor momma try to push on her baby to move and vocally urge it to get up was one of the sadessed things I have ever seen. This also came after Jessie had spoke about her mother and how much her mother meant to her. I just thought the whole thing was awful to watch and really upset me. I stopped the episode there and I will no longer be watching. Say what you will but for me I did not feel that certain parts needed to be shown.
