Bob Marioni

Good typical 50's western movie with a few holes and a lot of recognizable actors. The character development isn't as good as you hope it would be but Jimmy Stewart and Walter Brennan are formidable. Its a nice watchable movie and a great way to spend a rainy Saturday.

I thought it had the potential to be a good movie but had too many holes and a strong anti male agenda. The bad guys where all white males as usual and there was even an anti-Trump line from John Malkovich. Make the apocalypse great again or something like that, can't remember. I wanted to like it so I stopped thinking about the fact they never lost electricity in five years, the kids had haircuts and she made it a point to tell them not to look even though they grew up for five years knowing that. Agendas, plot holes aside, it was ok.
