An incredible read. Very hard to put this book down as soon as you read the first couple of pages. Without question it captures you in the opening chapter in quite a realistic manner, then you can’t put it down! Not only an ‘edge of your seat’ thriller, but one that delves deep into the personal toll of an intelligence officer in the field, and their life back home. Although fiction, this book paints an incredibly real picture that would easily pass as non-fiction. It’s not easy to exceed, let alone meet expectations of the first story (The Frenchman), but Jack certainly delivers with this book. Highly recommend to any reader. This is surely worthy of a Movie/TV series.
