The character of Basil Joseph was just unnecessary. His entry made the movie rubbish. Aju as a police officer was bad. Movie overall is usual cliche. Jagadeesh tried his best but his portrayal didn't do any justice to the character. When maniyan goes in search of the actual vilakku jagadeesh tagged along all the way. He could have stayed back.

This is an outstanding movie. Jagdeesh and Vijaya Raghavan, their respective careers peak in this movie. The title of the movie is apt, just like in kishkindha kandam, has mystery, investigation and monkeys. Aparna 👌 Asif Ali 👍
