After watching this movie I have decided to ignore big name reviews and overall “buzz”. I think the hate it got was more Hollywood politics then anything else. I was expecting a bad movie, similar to how Apocalypse was but ended up finding it to be a great film and frankly a great way to end the Fox version of the X-Men franchise. It had a much more cohesive story, the pacing was good and honestly it was what the Last Stand should have been. Apocalypse left me feeling unsatisfied. Not the case with Dark Phoenix, I was quite satisfied with the way it ended. I loved the action sequences and I really liked the feel of the movie. Totally recommend it!
