Rather disappointing. Although a beautiful thing to look at, just couldn't get invested in any of the characters..except perhaps Sersi. And the story telling too fragmented...the entire movie was jumping from time period to time period..I don't have a problem with flashbacks as a general rule, but this bordered on overkill.

I have loved this book since I was 7. But in this version, I just felt bludgeoned at every turn by the women's issue. I found Jo to be grating and strident, and Amy?
