I am an avid reader - even if I find I am not enjoying a book I will finish it. This book though floored me. I have read it numerous times now and it never ceases to amaze me. The characters, writing style, descriptions are all utterly compelling. Hosseini's storytelling is stupendous - trying to put this book down was very difficult. I read the Kite Runner and loved it - this book though is so much better it is quite incredible. An absolute must read.
