The 2019 finale was pretty staged. "1pm Birm" written in a notebook (which, btw, why would someone write such an easily remembered set of information down but not "Bull Ring" which is more likely to be the reminder needed) and that basic info leading the "hunters" so easily to a "helicopter extraction" was pretty bs. The fact that a city centre, car park, roof, compared to the boat in a non-descript dock in Devon in 2018 was an almost impossible extraction, means the producers really did totally blow up the entire fantasy of the series not being manipulated. With all that said - I'd greatly enjoy wiping the smug smiles of their faces. Given an even playing field - they would, never, catch me.
