Simple, refreshing and ticklishly enjoyable.

It is movies like these that makes you realize how certain great minds have impacted, even shaped the future of entire humanity at key points in history. What a splendid performance by Gary Oldman in re-enacting that grand old man! I was enticed to rewind to some scenes again and again.

You may have heard different reviews about this movie. All I would say is see and decide for yourself. But DON’T MISS IT on hearsay. Chances are, you might be mesmerized, as I surely was.

A hilarious dark comedy in enchanting Irish setting with some very odd ball but likeable characters. Gleeson is simply brilliant!!

Only one feeling to describe this movie - mellow. A must watch if you are looking for a non-cliched romance with fresh new talents. I loved the natural acting of the main duo and the effortless chemistry between them. The story is beautifully scripted without overtures, steeped with warm aching shayaris and filled with nostalgic monsoony glimpses of my home town. It will leave you smiling with a warm ‘mellow’ feeling.

It touched my soul. The loneliness of the 2 principals and how the lunchbox switch and resulting letters start transforming their lives. It’s a story of reality as well as hope, detachment as well as human connection, the mundane and the unexpected. A delightful tale that remained unfinished.

Quirky, often hilarious while reflective and poignant at the same time, this movie pleasantly surprised me. As always, Meryl Streep gives another performance to keep us rooting for her in ever different roles.
