Alex Gundry

A big budget and decent cast completely wasted on what feels like an amateur director with a rich Dad. There is little point to so much of this first installment. The energy put into this production would have been better spent on a project like Firefly or Cowboy Bebop, where writing and characters stayed core to the focus. There was room for subtly within the grand adventure, but it was reduced to obvious and overstated sentiments and violence without consequence. Very poor.
