I chose this film because I would watch Olivia Coleman read the telephone book. I also nearly stopped watching because, despite some very funny moments, the utter disdain for women portrayed almost made my head explode. I'm glad I stuck with it, however. It was in turns touching, humorous, sad, angry-making, and finally hugely freeing and celebratory. Do NOT miss it.
