Absolutely shockingly appalling. Full of anachronisms, singing at weird moments, Paul Weller proving he can play the piano. Not sure why it's called Blitz because the constant shoe horning of inclusivity, #be kind, minority representation could have been in any setting. I taught at a drama school and those kids did productions that would put this drivel to shame.

Brilliant acting, fantastic story.

I am a fan of Elena Ferrante's My Brilliant Friend etc and was about to buy this book. Having now watched this film I won't waste my money. Two plus hours of virtually nothing happening- disjointed scenes, unexplained incidences that made no sense and an ending that meant nothing. In a nutshell, a story about how motherhood can be very difficult and not all mothers take to it. There you go, I've saved you two hours you could be watching paint dry - about the same excitement
