I adored the books! I disliked the movie. I LOVE the start of this new series! Fantastic casting choices, and I'm sure as the story gets a bit more fleshed out, we will really begin to see the great range of acting skills I am anticipating! I know it isn't going to match the book series exactly, but I am perfectly fine with that as they do seem to be capturing the tone of the books quite nicely. I look forward to seeing where this show leads. Hopefully it will last a full 3 seasons to get all 3 book story-lines told! I really need the 'Subtle Knife' story to be shown on screen! Best book in my opinion, so please let this show last long enough for me to see it!!!
