This game got a lot of hate back in the day when it first came out , I played it as a kid and also didn't have a high opinion of it but now that I'm older I've found that this might be one of if not the best assassins creed game , all the criticisms like connor is boring, the prologue is too long , and the story isn't very good haven't aged well. Connor is one of the most layered deep amd interesting characters in the series and I had to grow up and mature to see that , the prologue is very necessary and for the first time in the series makes a good case for the templars , haytham is another amazing , charming and witty character that is a joy to experience, and the story is engaging , keeps your interest and has an ending that leaves you thinking and questioning everything, other characters are also very strong. Add all that with a satisfying parkour system , the best combat in the series , stealth that works , a large variety of tools, good side quests , a believable and historically accurate world and you have a great game
