Writing is hit and miss. Gabriella's heart is easily won over. 3 significant relationships and it's just episode 1 season 2. The premise for an episode can also be weak with poor predictable story line shifts that weakly try to add tension. I keep watching to see where it's going and if it improves as I like some of the main characters and see the effort of the actors to make a purse out of a pigs ear. There needs to be more effort in writing and more effort in scene setting. I have seen better CGI in the old Godzilla movies. Less screaming from Sharon who is supposed to be kickass and calm and more collected. Too much character inconsistencies. These are supposed to be hardened firefighters trained to keep cool under pressure. It has huge potential and I hope it gets there. Just be more realistic in the character arcs.

I am loving this show very well written researched and intelligent. I was so disappointed to find out it was cancelled with the excuse of Covid. Were the writers afraid of where they were going? Was it a last 2 Seasons of Game of Thrones ripple effect? If not why are they not choosing to complete this story. It is like a book you can't put down. The actors are awesome. I have been drawn in and left flapping like a fish out of water. It makes me less likely to watch a Netflix series again. They cancel more on a whim then others
