As someone who loves Nicolas Cage I was extremely excited to see that he starred in another movie. But I was oddly disappointed in the end result and had some mixed feelings. I also had a variety of questions. As you continue to watch the movie u see the backstory of the animatronics and the towns past,but u never hear any dialogue from the unknown character Nicolas Cage plays. Why? Why does he drink so many energy drinks throughout the night? Why is it he doesn’t fight the animatronics or do anything while on break? What’s his backstory? Why does he act so calm when the animatronics come to life to try to kill him? Why does it seem like a natural thing to him? And how come he moves and acts in a schedule like a robot? As my mother and I watched willys wonderland, we thought of an ending that would of been a lot better than the ending they came up with that would of explained stuff so much better and we thought we would share it with you guys. What if the character Nicolas Cage plays turned out to be someone who followed the cult and turned into a animatronic. He turned into a human when he did another ritual with someone he didn’t eat but turned into a sacrifice. This would explain why throughout the movie he acts calm and knows exactly what to do when the animatronics try to kill him, why he drinks the energy drinks to keep his mind distracted and not drink blood, and why he moves like a robot and stays on a schedule. Afterwards when he turned human he vowed to kill every other animatronics so no other innocent soul would die. This theory would explain why he didn’t take the job seriously until the group of teenagers go into willys wonderland and put themselves in danger. I really wish they would of explained their ending alittle better and we could see Nicolas Cage character’s past and understand his role better, and to see why he’s mute is it because that was his end of the ritual. As u can see he takes his deals seriously because even though the animatronics are trying to kill him he is determined to keep his end of the deal and clean up willys wonderland.
