The Matrix Resurrections is yet another candied apple set out on the ledge to draw in viewers - something seemingly meaningful wrapped tightly in sugary coatings; unfortunately, like its confectionary cousin, the new Matrix lacks any real substance or nutrition for the viewers. Keanu Reeves and Carrie Ann Moss could only bail so much water to save this sinking ship - no one should lay the blame for this mess at their feet. Please offer these great actors a film worthy of their talents.
