This movie will interest foodies, i liked learning about the famous cuisine that Babette once created at the Caf Anglais, Paris, which I learned closed in 1910. I have seen this movie twice now and I’m still trying to figure out the relationship between the General and one of the ‘sisters’. The boy who performs the duties of Sou Chef is the only young character, everyone else is mature age, which is unusual to see in a film.
