Positives:
Monsters, Great looking.
First two episodes also great, intrigue and suspenseful. Getting to Kurt Russel and getting to see the events surrounding the founding of Monarch were also great.
Cons:
The real issue is the modern day characters and how utterly dickish they are to each other. Seriously I can't tell if I'm meant to like them or hate them, It's like watching It's Always Sunny in Philly ALL of the Modern Day characters are terrible to each other and make horrific decisions overall.
Not to mention the whole contradictory statements relating to the whole Monarch universe, like in Kong they made such a big deal about the hollow Earth a real discovery and then later on in this series EVERYONE is acting like it's common knowledge before the events of Kong.
Overall it's a good concept but i can't help but feel like I would much rather see the Founding events alone as a series.
Last episode pulls it back in a bit but i really cont help but feel like the modern sections could do with skipping half the drama elements.
