This movie is FANTASTIC. Olivia Wilde’s direction is a masterclass in suspense and cinematography. Florence Pugh’s acting is off the charts as always. This film suffered from patriarchal drama and it takes away from the talent of female direction and the brilliance of this film. Well done Olivia Wilde

A quick yet impactful read. I feel I am a different person than I was when I picked up this book vs when I finished. An insightful and often horrifying examination of how we wrestle with a benevolent all powerful and all good God while enduring an often violent, tragic, and ill-fated human experience. Prepare to shed light on your own mortality and beliefs. Thank you Mitch for this story and encouragement to rediscover and reimagine my own faith and life.
