Honestly didn’t even feel like watching this because I had seen the trailer and felt like it gave away the whole story already. But my friend suggested this when I asked for a recommendation for a light, feel-good movie so I decided to give it a chance and was not disappointed. 
 I love Christmas movies and this one involved likable, normal characters who were not too over the top and a sweet story that 1. was not too cheesy and 2. found a way to still be funny and entertaining despite being predictable. 

Extra points for diversity and Asian-American representation. 

Netflix brings out new Christmas movies every year but unlike most of their others I feel like I actually won’t forget this one as soon as I post this review.

Really enjoyed this movie. Amazing performances by all actors, interesting storyline. Kept me at the edge of my seat and the story was not too predictable. One thing I do have to point out though: the "Hey Siri", followed by a dramatic "call 911" line at the end kinda ruined it for me. Up until that point the dialogue felt authentic, but this little line suddenly made the whole movie feel like a 2-hour-long Apple advertisement.
