I think the story often revolves more around Jacques than Karl which is disappointing as the show is supposed to be about Karl. It doesn’t really tell us anything of what went on with Chanel or where he came from, what his talents where that got hin there, they just glance over it. Jacques story has a lot more depth and Karl’s persona seems really cold and lacking of background or context. I don’t think this show does justice to who he was. I would assume there was a lot more to him thank work and his relationships with Jacques/Yves.
