An excellent book by a natural storyteller, it’s hard to put down as it takes you on a journey through exceptional times during Northern Ireland’s dark political past , even so the writer engages the reader with wit, humour and above all an honest assessment of his own personal experiences marked by a harsh Catholic education where he is unsparing in his criticism of the snobbery and classism with the local college teaching establishment who from my own experience I could add were a mixture of reprobates, deviants and misfits . Buy the book , you won’t be disappointed.
