I honestly don't know what to give this one. The gore scenes were great and creative for the most part. And I actually enjoyed the latter half of the story line. BUT I'm not an excessive gore fan ( didn't make it 20 minutes into hostel) the reason I like the terrifier movies is because you want the characters to die and the creative ways make it fun with a twisted creepy smiling clown adding comic relief. *Spoiler Alert* * * * * * * This one starts with killing a family, children and all. And continues to kill decent people and children the whole way through. It makes the whole thing so much more difficult to swallow. I was eager to volunteer to get popcorn halfway through just to get a break. If you're just in it for the gore you'll enjoy it, though some of the characters you want to see bite it are done off screen making it so much more frustrating. But if you're like me and enjoy the character of the terrifier more than senseless killing you may want to wait till you can stream it and fast forward......or just turn it off.

I really don't understand the low ratings, this movie hit every nostalgic mark for the hubby and I. Casting was fantastic and hats of to Keaton for insisting on keeping his screen time on par with the original. It was a great choice. Can't wait to own a copy. Only negative I had was when Lydia went to exit the car but hadn't removed her seat belt 😆 that probably should have been caught in editing.
