I’ll be honest with you: I did not want to see this movie. Scream was a pretty solid franchise and like most fans I was disappointed by the 5th installment (you kind of have to watch it in order to watch this one). Scream VI makes up for the errors in its predecessor right off the bat and has plenty of kills to add into the slasher franchise. The movie starts off with some misdirection and while you may have a prime suspect…or two, you won’t see how they are connected to the overall movie. There are still certain movie tropes that will always remain true, such as the characters making dumb decision. This just comes along with the territory of any horror/thriller movie.
