Choppy storyline which is surprising since Dickens did most of the legwork. Bill Murray was way out of his acting range. It was obvious he was acting in almost every scene. This seems like a clear attempt to coast off of the success of Caddyshack and Groundhog Day with a bad Christmas movie.

This movie is trash until you realize that the head elf (Paul Walker) is unintentionally hilarious. Start mocking his character and this movie becomes a delight.
