It is interesting to see these reviews from the individuals at whom the film is targeted. A big majority is female, almost everyone liked or loved the film, and the only seriously negative comments seem to come from the real-life versions of the guy on the bus who has a go at the people speaking Serbo-croat. Personally I am a sucker for this sort of film (music, acting, story), especially as it gives such a wide range of characters a voice (sure, it is a bit sterilised, but who wants Trainspotting at Christmas?) ... and I also have the gift of never trying to second-guess twists and endings, so I get the full impact every time. Try resisting the temptation sometime – it's not that clever and you get much better value from the art you pay for.
