I am a big fan of Sex Education. The cast is fantastic and the stories are quirky and easy to digest. The characters journeys are compelling and interesting and their problems relatable. Unreliable parents, overbearing parents, culture vs character, and a host of other contemporary issues that adolescents face. PLUS 5 for the multi ethnic cast and not limiting gay and ethnic characters to background friend1, kid in class number 2. REALLY fun to see Gillian Anderson as Otis' mum but not stealing the show away from the teens. Season 3's Jemima Kirk is brilliant too!

The books are rated so high. The TV series is the adult version of Twilight. There's more continuity issues and plot holes than Swiss cheese. Diana the main character is supposed to be a PhD student but she acts like a high school girl. She falls in love with a vampire she's known for 3 weeks and doesn't listen to 857657 warnings about anything. If she was 21 i'd buy it but at 31 I'm like GTFOH. He's a 1500 year old vampire and somehow care for this silly girl. It's majorly annoying. They had a nice budget, great locations, and terrible ass writing. All these other characters played by great actors and all wasted because the TV writing is trash. It's not the Magician's.

I like 1883. The cast is a great mix of familiar and new faces. I feel the love between the Dutton family and Thomas and Captain are like old military buddies. I'm sure there are historical anachronisms as people have pointed out but that's okay it's a 21st Century Oregon trail. i am not a huge fan of the story being told through the daughters eyes but if it gives an unvarnished look at the magic of the adventure and the terror i am okay with it. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw are good. I am satisfied with the story so far and definitely expect a season 2
