Don't listen to the 1 star reviews. They all just think the game is pure trash because it's co-op is lackluster. If you're playing single player, this game is just brilliant. The amount of content has tripled from Pikmin 3 and the game is a joy to 100%. Areas are very large, requiring at least 6 days to explore every cave (and their many sublevels), and the graphics are amazing. I nearly spent 2 whole hours just looking at the Piklopedia reading the information and messing around with them with items. Russ and the Captain provide steady evolution in your gameplay that you have to upgrade strategically in order to use them to their fullest. Dandori battles are very challenging and if you get a score at least bronze you beat it and you can't play it again. But, you actually can play them again with an NPC you rescue! It takes a decent amount of time to get Platinum (all treasures or a diff of at least 100.) and the upgrades from before can help. I try not to stay up till 4AM playing this game but I just can't due to me feeling like I can't stop without 100% ing the whole area. I just can't recommend it enough. IT IS A MUST PLAY.
