I give Blink Twice 5 stars because it is one of the best movies I’ve seen this year. While some may find it unrealistic to hop on a plane to an island with strangers, this actually happens! I’ve seen firsthand how some people, especially young women, take these kinds of risks for fun and call it “living the life,” without considering the consequences. The script is brilliant, capturing how certain men, particularly successful ones, exploit women, highlighting the harsh realities behind the glamorized lifestyles.
The performances were captivating, with the actors portraying their characters in a way that felt authentic and raw. The direction and pacing kept me engaged from start to finish, and the cinematography beautifully complemented the intense, emotional scenes.
Did I like how it ended? Absolutely! The ending was perfect because it didn’t sugarcoat the reality of the situation. It showed the consequences of reckless decisions and left the characters to deal with the fallout in a way that felt true to life. It wasn’t a typical happy ending, but it was satisfying because it delivered justice and made a powerful statement about personal accountability.
