Huge disconnects throughout. I read the reviews first because I wanted to see that I wasn’t the only one that saw all the flaws. The children having strong accents, the gypsy wearing the same necklace I bought from Anthropologie, the horrible wigs, bleached hair and die jobs. The narrations are crippling to listen to. I found myself becoming more and more annoyed as I continued to watch. Sam was great, he should have been the main character. Tim and Faith didn’t seem like real parents at all to these specific children. They seem out of place and uncomfortable to the point that I began to feel bad for them. The writers did not do their homework when it comes to detailed events in history. I wanted to love it but it’s 5% accurate and 95% cheesy Hollywood. I’ve heard some people think this series is better than Yellowstone. That’s some fine weed their smoking. Kevin Costner can stand in a hallway with a cowboy hat on and not say a word and he blows away anything in this series. That my good friend is true.
