I loved this movie whole heartedly. Im not somebody who normally can sit through an entire movie while staying interested. Nimona was a different story. I thought the plot was interesting and very unique for a kid’s movie. The characters were well written and the animation was beautiful. I really loved Nimona as a character. She was a protagonist that I’ve never seen in a kid’s movie before. I also like that there was casual queer representation in the movie. Most of the one star reviews are complaints about two men kissing briefly at the end of the movie, so unless that really matters to you, pay no mind to them. This movie was great and I hope you enjoy it too. I’m adding it to my favorites

I loved the animation and story and the characters were fun. I must mention that most of the one stars review are just plain homophobic so I don’t think its fair to judge the movie completely on the review. Any Disney movie with anything remotely gay will end up being “controversial”. I enjoyed this movie and would love to watch it again.
