This is a fantastic version of West Side Story. It's more colourful costumes and settings really work and the casting is spot on. The performances of Rachel Zegler, as Maria and Ariana DeBose, as Anita are electric. The staging and scale of some of the music and dance scenes blew me away, they were simply breathtaking. The original is one of my favourite films and I have loved it since I first saw it as a child in the 1970s but I do believe this iteration is better because of it's vibrancy. Don't listen to people who say it's not good because it didn't do well at the Box Office, This film is a masterpiece from all concerned.

one of the greatest shows ever written. Funny,sad, brutal and so caring. Unless you completely lack empathy you will definitely laugh and cry. Easily the Ricky Gervaise greatest achievement.
