That the subject is President Donald Trump is going to turn off the Never Trump'ers so expect this to get very negative votes from people that will never even see the movie.

Laughably horrible! I sat through it because wife was at a class but could have left any time and not missed it a bit. Nothing like Gravity or even one of it's main plagarisms, 2001. If you have ANY knowledge of space travel, or have even see a few good space movie, stay far away from this masterpiece of the absurd. I'll leave you with this one warning: Killer Space Baboons!

SPOILER WARNING: After enduring one and a half episodes I scanned the rest of the 10 episodes and concluded no one on the staff has a clue what real science fiction is. This is more like BH90201 in a tin can, with aliens thrown in. Forget the STTNG holodeck, just base an entire episode on a crew member's nightmares. Need to explain the mess of a series, pop in an all-knowing AI and problems' solved. Take this concept, give it to the writers that did Expanse, and you might come up with a decent project. But give it a budget! An alien artifact al la Arrival and all that's around it are some throw-away TV antenna, no military, and a woman who's supposed to be leading both the ground investigation and the space mission (no mission control, too expensive) who would be better suited on Desperate Housewives. Pass on this one.
