It was disappointing. You imagine a oversized monster that can breathe atomic radiation out of it mouth. What the American 1998 Zilla gave us was a fish eating Iguana. It didn't show the dark and gruesome what Toho originally planned "every" godzilla to be. The 1954 Godzilla was a perfect example of a dark horror film based on the nuclear testing and remained a Japanese icon. The Roland Zilla was a joke. It made fan on an international level angry that this was the movie. The entire film was a disaster to the point Roland killed it off by military WMD (Submarine torpedos and Jet fighters rocket). Godzilla can survive a nuclear explosion but this one? Yeah forget it.
