This is definitely the best live action so far. The fact that she reveals herself is something I didn't expect and it was so empowering for me as a female to watch it. and I think the decision to not make it a musical was wise because the movie was staged with a more mature content. Also I think it wasn't entirely a remake of the animated series but the same idea with a slightly different plot in a much more empowering vision. And I like that they respect the cultural ideas of olden day china
