I am so hesitant to write this because I love the Chosen so much, but the trailer misrepresented what this was. My husband and I enjoyed it okay, but we paid a lot of money to take our family of 7. Our kids are in their 20’s, and we all thought it was going to be a movie. Two of our sons fell asleep during the singing, and we had to wake them up for the short film. It just could have been so much more. There is so much more to the story of the birth of Jesus. If you go, just know, one of my sons described it perfectly, “It’s more like a concert with a short film mixed in.”
