Cute show… easy binge for a cozy weekend. There were some laughs and a couple of tear jerkers.

Love a good RomCom, especially with Black characters, bc there are few. This was cute,4/5 bc it was predictable. As soon as I saw Devale’s character reappear I knew where it was going. This is the second I’ve watched w Christina M that I have enjoyed. I usually avoid movies with Devale E (nothing against him I just worry the plot will be terrible), but this is my first time seeing him on screen and he wasn’t bad at all. It was bittersweet bc I was really looking forward to seeing much more of Kofi S. It’s a cute lil romcom for a slow Saturday. The laugh out loud comedy kicked in about an hour into the script. Those that scored it 1/5… bots maybe?

It’s good. Not great, but if there was a season two I’d watch. I love the diversity of the cast. Update: 11 mos later and I am at the end of season 3. I have become a huge fan. This season is a lot more volatile than the last. I don’t like Mickey’s choice in women. Still appreciate the diversity of the cast. Legal is gem, so I hope they keep him around.

I had this on my watchlist for a while. I didn’t think I would like it. I am a sucker for a good romance and this was decent. My eyes may have watered a bit, may have a frog in my throat as I type this with the closing credits rolling… five stars for the five year update at the end

By episode 4 I realized I didn’t like it but wanted to watch it til the end. I wasn’t rooting for anyone but Baden (was that the officer’s name?), and even he annoyed me at times. I love a mystery, thriller, romance type of series but this was so slow. With that being said, season 2 is in the works and my nosey self will proceed tune in if I am still paying for Apple TV then!

I always write reviews way too soon so here I am on ep 6 and I love the show. Renewed the Apple subscription that isn’t in the budget so I could know how it ends. I am a fan of true crime, I usually can figure out the perpetrator. I think Rusty is guilty but that seems too easy, right? 4 stars because I don’t know how it ends 😊

Not bad. If there’s nothing else left, watch for some laughs! Decent plot. Happy it wasn’t Kevin and The Rock. Didn’t need to be so long.

I’m on the last episode now. It’s so bad 😂😂. I read it was supposed to be a parody but it’s just so terrible. I laughed a few times because of the ridiculousness of it all. I finished it because I just had to😂. I definitely wasn’t ready for the ending.

I didn’t like it. I laughed once in ep 1. I let it keep playing but midway of ep 2 I just couldn’t do it anymore. It just wasn’t funny to me. The eps are too long too. I may skip to the last ep just to learn who did it.

Idk if I will finish it. Im halfway in and went to check the running time because it’s not going anywhere. I thought I would gain some insight on Holiday and how the gov’t fought against her and “Strange Fruit” but this movie seems all over the place. Two stars for the costume design and acting. Maybe it should be Billie vs Drug Addiction? I’m really disappointed.
