Mimi is a heart touching dive into the life of a surrogate mother and her battles, when things don't go out as planned. It takes you on an emotional ride with a sprinkle of humor. It will make you cry and smile at the same time :') The whole cast and crew did a fantastic job at the screenplay and direction. It keeps you hooked. Pankaj Tripathi at his best brings humor into tense moments. Yet, there are a few issues like racism, community, and religion, that Mimi has failed to justify. It didn't want to dive into the darker spaces of the issues. However, the film was highly focused on parenting at an emotional perspective. A true mother is the one who raises and accepts her child for whoever he/she is. A real mother never runs away from her child! It reminds you that - a mother is a mother, be it a normal pregnancy or surrogacy, or even an adoption. It unravels the reality in the life of a surrogate mother. Never miss out on stories of reality 💯

This is one of the wonderful movies I've seen in recent times. The meaning of home is wonderfully depicted. This movie will tell you exactly how it's like being at home and the beauty of imperfection 💞 Every scene is beautifully pictured and splendid performance by all the actors. I'm pretty sure you will realise the true meaning of "home" after watching this film ❣️ It's the go to movie for your family night.
