A dreadful muddle of a film with too many illogicalities and unanswered questions, undeveloped 'cardboard' characters, a hero (Scott) with a wafer-thin backstory that lends nothing to his purpose (or the plot), a sub-story concerning a son from a wealthy Mexican family whose racial origin seems to have been chosen only to pad out the yarn, and trite dialogue (lines like, 'folks are getting fed up waitin' for the hangin'' . Third rate at best.
