Very interesting read. Uncovers the hidden history of our Black Heroes. These are men and women who have made America great. This author does a marvelous job of finding and recording the history of a man who should be lauded as one of or perhaps the greatest lawman of the Wild West. Thank you Art Burton for the painstakingly thorough research that went into putting this volume in print. Recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in cowboys, Indians and the lawmen who tried to make a civil society out of the chaos of that era.
