Compared to "The Forest", this sequel brings everything that we could expect from the game, and much more. The story is great, the world is much bigger, atmosphere is constantly tense, enemies are versatile and unique, new building system is awesome, there are season changes, large number of tools, traps... After completing the story in single player mode, it keeps you invested if you like building multiple bases, exploring, surviving... Also if you destroy enemy villages that are only necessary for the story progress and you leave the other, then there will always be someone to fight against. If I had to say something that might be better, it would be a lack of natural predators (of any kind) and the lack of resources. Increase the max number of items that you can carry or let all resources to respawn.
