I love this show. I may not agree with everything the show says but I understand Dre’s perspective and I think having a show about a black family is very important. Honestly this show is very funny and covers a lot of things people are still uncomfortable talking about and turns them into something funny. It’s good for white AND black families to watch to talk to their kids about the complexities of race and gender.

This show is fantastic The dialogue is excellent and sounded exactly like what it would in a fifties sitcom, which is impressive. Then there’s these sudden scenes of Suspense which leave you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. Then there’s the background music which takes such scenes and increases the thrill immensely. The first two episodes are about 30/40 minutes long but it felt like five because I was so encased in the plot. Don’t listen to these negative reviews trust me this show is everything it promised and more.

I really liked it. The songs were good are the characters were sweet and very well written. Some people kept whining about how ‘it’s offensive to the gay community’ but none of them were ACTUALLY gay. Hi! I am actually gay and trust me this musical is fine and the perfect thing to watch if you just wanna watch a goofy fun movie on a Saturday night.

I LOVE THIS SHOW! All of these dipstick morons keep talking about how you “can’t have lgbtq people in kid’s shows” but you guys get that some kids are gay right? We don’t TURN gay when we become adults we’re not werewolves. I swear this show changed my life I actually got to see a gay main character who wasn’t pushed to the side after coming out and wasn’t constantly the butt of the joke. And I love that all the women in this show look like actual women. Moms! LISTEN UP give your daughter a show where she can be represented and can feel good about her own body! Where she can see women with actual cloths on not bikinis! Where there is an autistic character who is funny and kind and confident in herself! And it’s not just the diversity. The characters are complex and multi dimensional, they have detailed backstories and are flawed and imperfect which is what makes them so perfect! And the storyline is amazing and makes you feel every emotion possible. So please, give yours daughters a show where they can feel confident and excepted no matter what shape, color, or orientation and be incredibly entertained at the same time.
