I love this show, but to all the people who put a one star review, of course the show isn't gonna be a masterpiece if you only watch the first episode lmao. Like what type of logic is that, "episode one is bad so lmao how good could the rest of the show be". Overall I understand the people who don't like the first season, after all it is the worst season of the show and I could see how someone could take it for a typical boring kids show if they only watch the first season. My advice to everyone watching this show, DO NOT WRITE THIS SHOW OFF AFTER ONLY WATCHING THE FIRST SEASON. Trust me, this show at first is very episodic and it's character writing, maturity, and other things like that are not at their peak in the first season. In the second season, the serial nature of the show begins to form a more cohesive narrative and develops the characters to a crazy degree, Zuko's arc is one of the greatest in TV history. Iroh gets some amazing development with the episode Tales of Ba Sing Se and also we get introduced to Toph who is an amazing character. The mature themes unravel with this show more and more the longer you watch and you are rewarded for your commitment. This show is a masterful work of fiction and everyone who left pre-emptively after season one are missing out. Seriously, watch this show past season one it won't disappoint you.
