A wonderful novel. Witty intelligent and engaging. I wanted to read it again after finishing it in three sittings. I hope Barry McCrae has another book for me to savour. The literary references are fun but the writer never shows off his obvious learning. Captures Dublin and a young man struggling to come to terms with adulthood.
